Hi I am thinking about getting my dd an advent calendar she is going to be 18 months in December is she too young? What age was your child when you got the first advent calendar?
I know she won't understand the concept I just thought it would be a nice idea

I was thinking of getting a traditional picture one or maybe filling one myself but it might be a bit late for that now! I've also seen a play mobile and happy land one

Does anyone have any suggestions for an advent calendar for a 18 month old? 🎄🎅🏼

Happyland one was brilliant for that age!

Our then 18 month old loved her Happyland calendar. Still plays with the toys 3 years later!

I would just get a picture one that that age (my DD was a similar age last Christmas). Happyland is cute but expensive and they still dont really "get" it... plus for the first few days they cant really play with a single happyland character.

P.s. she is probably too young for playmobil as thats more age 3+

We had a wall sticker one at that age- it was a Christmas tree and we added a decoration sticker each day. He didn’t ‘get’ it but he did love it and it’s a nice memory.

I've got my 18 month old the Disney books one, I liked it as well be able to use it again and have a story from it each night.

W H Smiths do nice picture ones, my DS loved his at that age and we're still reusing it now he's 4.
