Amazon fire for teen? Confused

I’ve bought a fire tablet for ds 13. I’m trying to set it up for him but the kids profile is too young for him, yet I don’t want him to have access to the master account (mine) how do I get around this? I can only see options to add another adult amazon account or a kids profile for under 12s

My DS has access to an adult account linked to mine but I've blocked access to my photos / books etc so he can't see them or access them. He can set up his own though. You'll need to turn off notifications as otherwise he'll see anything you buy through Amazon too!
