Is there a 'men in your life who are hard to buy for' thread?

I've gone back a couple of pages, but can't find one...

The last couple of years there's been a thread of suggestions for presents for husband's/ FIL etc... It's been brilliant.

Ideas I've found there include Sugru, Formcatds, credit card multi tools... All of which I'd never have thought of.

So, if this isn't a duplicate thread, please hit me with your suggestions.

So far I've got some Hey Duggee PJ's - quite specific but I know they'll be a hit. And that's it...

I’m struggling at the minute. Trying to find something for my brother.

Saw granite ice cubes in Lakeland last week which might be good for any men who drink gin/whisky, etc.....sadly my brother doesn’t drink.

There is this one

Lots of suggestions there.

I’m going with more of what they already like. Stuff for their sport and team, more socks ( he is a size 14 so not avaiable in most shops), buffs and gloves etc. If all else fails go personalised - car air fresheners were a favourite..

I've just bought my brother a Swiss army knife, which I think he will like. Voucher for an escape room was well recieved last year.

The trouble with most of the sites 'men's gifts' is that they assume all men like/follow football, play golf, put up a lot of shelves and drink whisky. If you have a sport-phobic teetotaller who hates DIY you are in trouble.

My dad is the difficult one for me. He is missing 70s not really into sport. He likes gardening but I can't think or find anything relating to that he might like.

Mid 70s. He may also be missing the 70s as he would be mid 30s intead!

My contribution this year is a subscription to Private Eye.
