Costa/cinema/pizza express vouchers

candycane222 · 22/11/2019 11:51

tools - for both of them! Screwdrivers (esp philips type) etc. Pocket mirrors - again, for both. Nice tweezers - as above (the lads seem to curate their eyebrows too these days!)

TrulyMadlyBeefly · 22/11/2019 11:53

Actually that reminds me to get hair bands for my son, as he has to tie his hair back for work.

MyFamilyAndOtherAnimals1 · 22/11/2019 12:15

metal drinking straws
reusable drinking bottle
second-hand book
some sort of save-the-turtle bracelet
a £12 Ukelele

Puffinhead · 22/11/2019 14:27

WagtailRobin · 22/11/2019 14:39

Look on Flying Tiger and Rex London, lots of small but cute/cool items there.

Girl... Stationery, hair clips, gloves, etc (Girls are much easier I think), as for your boy, hmm, a scratch card, nice socks, portable charger?!

HippyChickMama · 22/11/2019 14:42

Power bank, phone case, paperback book, soap, travel manicure set, magazine, bath bomb, mini box of chocolate, hair wax/styling product, body butter

Pannalash · 22/11/2019 15:53

A ukulele? Crikey how big are your stockings? Shock

Annasgirl · 22/11/2019 15:56

Also (about to buy now) a Keep Cup (glass pyrex really cute) if your DD or DS drink coffee or tea on the go.

IfOnlyOurEyesSawSouls · 22/11/2019 16:44

@Pannalash 😂

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 22/11/2019 18:59

Bath bombs

VickyBHF · 22/11/2019 20:38

@Pannalash was thinking exactly the same!

milliefiori · 22/11/2019 20:41

My two were always happy with:
earphones
phone chargers
gloves (especially the kind with special fingertips so you can use your phone.)
Wallet or purse
Nice/fun socks or tights
Stuff from Tiger - notebooks, hairbrushes, mini stoarage things (e.g. jewellery holders etc)
Poundland do a gorgeous perspex make up tidy

TravellingSpoon · 23/11/2019 07:57

For DD's stocking so far I have

Bath bomb
Ravenclaw Phone case
Lip balms
Gloves
Foot socks
Harry potter Mug

Will pock up the new David walliams book next week some time as I have a book voucher and hers will be finished.

MsConstrue · 23/11/2019 08:06

mine will get (not just in stockings)
socks,
knickers,
chargers,
power bank,
earphones (cheap ones - although I suspect they'll ask for the ear pod things),

some chocolate,
tweezers maybe,
some make up (or lynx for the boys),
usually an electric toothbrush ,

a coffee card for costa,
maybe a yankee candle (yes, I don't like!)
vouchers for Victoria Secret
some loungewear from Urban Outfitters
A book each - i usually go for a theme - last year feminism
Possibly a water bottle - whatever's cool - last year chilly bottle thing
Some stationery - prob from Muji - they like the roller ball pens
a tangle teaser hairbrush - they lose them each year

(I use the stocking as an opportunity to stock up the things they need really!).

DialMForMurder · 23/11/2019 08:41

Nail clippers, to stop them nicking mine.

NaughtyLittleElf · 23/11/2019 09:34

My 16 year old DD is getting

  • Paddle Brush
  • Fancy highlighter pens
  • Metallic gel pens
  • Twin pack Headphone adapters for iPhone
  • Gingerbread fudge
  • Chocolate orange
  • Bodyshop Japanese Cherry Blossom Spritz
  • Pingu Mug
70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/11/2019 09:58

Lip-balms . Nicer ones than the run-of-the-mill . I bought a couple of Hurraw ones for DD last year and she has one from Urban Outfitters .
(She has Lanolips ones in bags and coat pockets too)

DS - tweezers ( black silicone covered so we all know they're his ) and nail clippers ( splashed out on some Ben Cohen ones in the hope he wouldn't lose them -he hasn't)

Charging cables - they always seem to lose or snap them.

Keyrings

My DC are nearly 20 and 17 so their Christmas presents go in their Stocking because they tend to be small and ££ .
DD might get a couple of bigger things if she's asked for jeans or a sweatshirt .

DS likes money . I buy his years worse of socks and underwear to go in his Dec 1st box because he needs them but they're not the most exiting gift for a young man Xmas Grin

TrulyMadlyBeefly · 23/11/2019 13:29

If any teens are into I'm a celebrity, I just bought a bush tucker trial game in Lidl.
