Please help!

I am utterly stuck. My nephews are 2 and 5 and live in Australia in order to save on stupid shipping costs and CO2 emissions etc. etc. I purchase gifts online from Australian stores.

When I asked my SIL about gifts she said could I please get them both the same thing as recently they argue constantly over anything which is shared and always want whatever the other one has, both ways round. Fine, I completely understand but....

What can I buy them both which they will both like being those ages?

budget is approx £20 each

TIA

Would a shared game meet the criteria? One of the Orchard Games maybe.

Play doh sets? Good for both ages.

Colouring books and giant tub of crayons.

Shared gifts;

Paddling pool
Ball pit soft play something?
Aqua doodle
Playdough
Robofish
Big puzzles
Train set

Separate but same:

Cute suitcase sets - I got a great Monsters Inc set from Amazon
Lunch bags for school/nursery
Soft toys from a film/tv show
Scooters

Or buy them a sand timer and get Mum to teach them to take turns? 😆😆😆

I’ve had to do the same in the past!
Melamine dinner sets (just different designs!) along the lines of this www.beckyandlolo.co.uk/children-s-melamine-dinner-set-7-pieces-dinosaur
Pillow Pets
The same fancy-dress outfit but in their different sizes (I got them both Spider-Man)

Pyjamas, dressing gown and a soft toy.
Swim shorts, a named swim bag and a noodle.
A beanbag.
Some train track to share, and a train each.

Can you find somewhere that does those recycled card fold out playhouses? They are great as they can colour them in then play. Or get a joint present of a play tent or something.

Thanks everybody. I got the boys pjs, dressing gowns etc. For their birthdays in their winter and they have all the swimming things in the world as living where they do swimming is an everyday occurrence nearly. They already have a train set and also got suitcases earlier in the year for coming to visit us!

Aqua doodle is a good shout. I will see if I can find that from an Aussie shop (you wouldn't believe how oddly different the things which are available are)

I always slightly resent other people buying my child things like play dough (or worse moonsand!) so I'll avoid that.

@sawyersfishbiscuits love the sand timer idea 😂
