Self-fill crackers - what to put inside?

I was adamant we weren't having crackers this year filled with plastic tat that will end up in the bin.

So I have found some "make your own" crackers which are recyclable and now I just need to decide what to put in them. I have brough some liquor chocolates and am thinking maybe a scratch card each and I think I need 1 more thing to go in.

Any ideas?

Tanks for the suggestions - there are some fab things here I hadn't thought of. I'm deffo going with some wildflower seeds to help the declining bee numbers - this makes me very happy

Self-fill crackers are a great idea. However I think they should be fun rather than 'worthy'. I find people like a scratch card, some choc, a joke. Unless of course you are filling the cracker with a specific person in mind. Please dont say that peoples suggestions are 'tat' or 'lame.' I plant wildflowers but really wouldn't thank you for a pack of seeds. Also you would need huge crackers for some of these ideas.

@Alabasterangel - brilliant idea about the jigsaw. We've got both sets of grandparents and my early 20s daughters. So I've just bought a (used so recycled!!) 250 piece Christmas jigsaw on eBay and we can all spend the afternoon putting it together. A lovely way to keep them entertained while I'm sipping Baileys over ice!! Thank you so much for the suggestion.

Everyone in my family is Lego mad (including all the adults) so I bought loads of quirky mini-figs of people like Bob Ross, Gremlins, Stranger Things, Freddie Mercury and Elvis for my DIY Hobbycraft crackers. Still plastic but they will all be loved and played/displayed.I cannot wait!
