Tolkien's Letters from Father Christmas

Has anyone read this to their children? I'm trying to find out if there are any Christmas spoilers in it re Father Christmas?!
After a very tense moment with 'the children of noisy village' last year I'm nervous!

I put our edition away because the history of the letters is stated explicitly in sections of the book. I’m not sure if there are other editions that leave this out?

Tolkien’s version of Father Christmas doesn’t fit the more modern stereotypes that dc encounter today. As much as I liked Tolkien’s version, I felt it would provoke questions and introduce doubt.
