Just seen this game advertised and it looks like it could be ideal for a mixed age group gathering over Christmas. Does anyone have it and how has it gone down with those who have played?

I've played it with both just adults and with kids and it is a good fun game. (Playing whilst drinking can be a hoot!) We tend to make up our own categories as well x

We have 5 second rule Jr version and I think it’s a really good fun game - 7 and 9 yr old enjoy it and even 3 yr old gives it a go (we let the 3yo give just one answer, the older ones 2 and the adults 3).

Yes we got this last Christmas and it was great and still played regularly. Works well with larger and smaller groups and different ages.

Thank you, sounds like it will work well for our family

I just bought the junior version from Smyths, it was only £8 a few pounds cheaper than Amazon so worth a look.

We played this game when DS3 was quite young so we gave him longer than 5 seconds. He had the question "name 3 things you drink from a MUG". He said tea and hot choc and then his brother said "mummy likes drinking it!" (he was hinting at coffee).

DS3 said "...wine?"

I’m thinking of getting it for 10 year old ds, is the adult version too hard for kids then? I didn’t realise there was a junior version.

We've had it a few years now and it's good. Works for all ages and any size group really. Plus you get excellent answers such as Sussexshire when asked to name 3 counties ending 'shire' Grin

Fun game for all ages. If we a draw a card with something too tricky for D.C. we just swap it for another.

We like it with dc are 8 and 6.
