Ds is 7 3/4 in dec. Lego....and more lego! Obsessed with it! Some beast quest books. Some books that aren't bloody beast quest! (Although the series did kick off his independent reading). Ninjago related things. Knex was popular last year. Got him a small nerf gun, bullets and pouch. Transformers are also quite popular.

My almost 8yo is getting a hoverboard and kart too. Got it for £149. I really didn't think she would be able to do it, but I got her sister one for her birthday and they do nothing but argue over it.

DD 8 in December. Not sure what's for her birthday/ Christmas but has so got

  • Kids fitbit
  • Bow and arrow set, with a few 'proper' safety arrows.
  • Remote control robot
  • Den building kit
  • Jessie doll
  • sewing machine

I think family getting screw ball scramble and spirograph.

Last year she had a remote control land rover, and loves that. It goes through mud and water.

We just got a free Nintendo switch when DH upgraded his phone at the EE shop. Rather handy as that’s what our nearly-8 DS wants for Christmas!

You download an app for Lego Hidden Side, which interacts with any of the physical lego kits from that range. I think it shows ghosts etc when you view the set through the app. The lady in the toy ship said her son has it and loves it. All very clever

Ooh sounds good!
