Christmas chutney recipe

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some good chutneys that will be ready for Christmas?
I would like to make some as gifts for my dad but have left it a bit late.

Tried making a carrot one similar to what M&S have in their Wenslydale sandwich but it didn't turn out well. Too much jelly and not enough substance.
