Dd has put one (and a new phone case) on her Christmas list, I’d not heard of them before. I know from google it’s a door knob thing for your mobile phone, but am confused as to what I should buy. Firstly do I need to buy a particular type of case that a popsocket will work with? I think her current phone case is a silicone one. Secondly the price online varies quite a lot. There are some cheap (£7) ones on Amazon or some for £25, which seems a lot for a plastic knob - are they the same thing?

I have one (very useful for my small hands that sometimes struggle comfortably holding my phone!).

They go with any phone case as have adhesive on the back which you peel off to stick to the phone. Not sure about the cheaper ones but the actual ones from Popsocket can be reapplied to a different place on your phone (just have to give them a good wipe). The official ones can be made with a custom image - via the popsockets website - and you can alternate the handle of the knob part

If she's got a silicone case I'd say it's a good idea to swap to a harder backed case. I had a £9 pop socket from amazon and I loved it but after a couple of days it started slipping around on the case and eventually the adhesive just gave up. I bought exactly the same pop socket again and it's very secure on the harder case

I bought one from eBay about a year ago as I have a iPhone 7plus so it really helps me hold it. It’s not moved once and I got a cheapie 99p one! Muthahood sell an awesome Strong Girls Club one.

I ordered a bunch from eBay a few years ago from as cheap as 30p. They have a huge range of styles. They work with any case. I use them with my 360 case and they don't move around at all.
