Ideas of experiences/days out with adult family for Xmas?

For Christmas I was thinking to do an experience day for the adults in the family (my dad, brother and other halves, oh and me!!) since they are so hard to buy for and have most things they want! We've recently done an adults trip to Thorpe Park which was good fun, I was thinking perhaps an escape room? or a nicer than everyday place to eat out/drink etc. Any other ideas welcome! We are close to London happy to travel a little!

Escape Rooms can be brilliant fun. We discovered them a couple of years ago and have been doing them as family birthday treats (DH, DD and I) We might have been spoiled because the two companies nearest us who do them are fantastic and always get rave reviews - I think some are less good. However, we have done all our local ones so for DD's birthday this weekend we are trying a different one.

If you are close to London you should have plenty of choice but read the reviews first.

Llama walking. We did it in Ashdown Forest, but there are loads of places available.
Walking over the top of the O2 Arena.
Dining at Dans Le Noir (an eating in pitch black experience). If you google it and like the look, I'm happy to answer any questions!
Flying in an air tunnel at Xscape in Milton Keynes.
