You were all very helpful at finding me things for dd2 (13) now I need help with DD1 (almost 16), I have bought most of her gifts but they are mainly clothes, she’s not girly and doesn’t wear make up, doesn’t like smellies (though she will get some). She’s a gamer and will be getting the Pokemon game for her switch. So far I have got her..

Pokemon switch game
Dressing gown
Hype hoodie
Hype purse
Hype hat
Some geeky T-shirt’s
A nice jumper

She doesn’t need anything for her room (as she can’t keep it tidy) 🤣 Ideally looking for a good board game or something she can actually do Christmas Day other than her being glued to the switch.

My DD is 15. She's getting cash for clothes (so festive..not!) plus dressing gown and posters...some jewellery, I've also got her some art things...a big box of fine Sharpies so she can draw on things...they're good for t shirts and trainers or other things...and also some Fimo...she likes making weird things.

Love fimo idea thank you!

Oh, just remembered I ordered her a few bits of jewellery and a trinket box. Maybe I have got her enough? I don’t want to buy stuff that won’t get used, every year I make that mistake. She’s not really into fimo but her sister is.

Another idea is a nice throw blanket. I like to get those because they wrap up into a nice big present...they get used too. Same with a nice cushion or beanbag.

She has loads of fluffy blankets and cushions 😁 (From last Christmas).
Her rooms full of soft fluffy things and teddy bears.

I think I’m just worrying too much but I’m sure she will be happy with what I have got her, it gets so much harder as they get older and don’t play with anything anymore.

I know right! My youngest is 11 and this is sadly the first year she's not asked for any toys at all. I think I might get them both a Lego set though...they'll enjoy that. And it's a nod to childhood isn't it? I think also, that younger DD would like a doll's house but she's having a PC...so too much money!

How about an Unlock Escape Adventure game?
The downside is you can only play each game once. (We coordinate with our friends so we can swap boxrs. Grin )

Of course there are lots of other great boardgames you can play over and over. What games does she like?
