Grown up children

I'm struggling with Christmas now my. Hold ten are grown up/left home.
Obviously there's no massive pile of toys to play with all day.
We still exchange presents.
We still have a lovely Christmas meal.
How do you make adult Christmas' feel like a special day?

Maybe do things in the run up to Christmas. I always find the day a disappointment compared to the run up of Christmas. You could maybe visit a Christmas market. They do nice ones in Europe. Ice skating, baking, see a play etc.

We have our own traditions but we always play a game in the evening, cards against humanity this year. We also have a cocktail competition where we all try to make the best one and someone is nominated to be the taster.
