Great gift for 18m girl

Those who have toddler girls, what have been really great gifts that you've received?

I'm struggling to think of what to get my Goddaughter this Christmas. For her birthday I got her a little rocking horse and personalised book and want to get her something she'll love and use, but also something that's thoughtful.

I have no kids of my own (or any in my family) so she's very important to me but I just can't think of what to get.

Our little girl will be 18 months at Christmas and we've gotten her the play kitchen from Ikea with some of the little pots and pans and toy food etc. Wasn't hugely expensive, with the Ikea family card last week it was actually all 20% off but I don't know if that offer is still on now.

She's also pretty obsessed with the little ball pit we have for her already, ours is just a cheap one but you can get really nice ones with the sides made of felt/padded fabric that are sort of the nicer version of ball pits if you see what I mean? And still small enough to not take up huge amounts of space

Thanks @harper30 a kitchen was actually my first thought but her mum is getting her that.

A ball pit is a good idea though! Going to look into that.

Love those @Ricekrispie22 especially the tea set and night light. She's moving into her own room so that would be perfect.

At that dd loved the water drawing mat (I did also as no mess!) pots and pans for ‘cooking’ with me in the kitchen, paints, baby dolls, and mega bloks are good for small hands.

That water mat looks great. Never heard of them before. Is it the AquaDoodle one that you have?

These are great suggestions thank you.

Another vote for pots and pans and implements.

My daughter loves loves dinosaurs from seeing them at playgroup so we have some of those.

How about subscribing the family to a local attraction. We are near Slimbridge and she loves going to see the ducks etc so we've bought a years membership.

The other best thing we have is a tuff spot. Google it and search on Pinterest for tuff spot activities. It's a blank canvas that we use as a pool in the summer or sand, messy sensory play, blocks, the dinosaurs will go on it, a writing table etc etc

Lastly what about a small rocking horse. B and M have one in that is reasonable and my daughter makes a bee line for whenever we go to the shop

I hadn't thought of a membership @avocadoincident that's a good idea.

I bought her a rocking horse for her first birthday and she loved that so I want to keep up the momentum!
