Ds wants an Nintendo 3ds...

Ds aged 10 has asked for a Nintendo 3ds for Xmas..
Are these still a thing? Is it an “in” thing? I don’t want him to be disappointed in it.

My son asked for one so we’ve got one. And have been picking up games for him off eBay and Amazon. Far cheaper than £50 switch games. Also got a 2ds for my daughters to share with some girly games . I have a 3ds and they’ll both be able to use all my games too. I did go for a new console to make sure it’s in tip top condition as I know it’s all about the switch now. Got mine new from Argos on eBay and he’s going to love it. We like to link up and play mario kart as a family so he’ll join in too! Great little consoles I think.
