Ideas on how to gift concert tickets

DD10 has concert tickets for her main Christmas present this year. The concert isn't until next July so a long way off yet! It'll be her first ever concert so slightly anxious but I'm also so excited for her, as it's her fave artist atm.

Does anyone have any creative ideas on how to gift tickets? I'm stuck on how to gift them, since i don't have the physical tickets to wrap! Any ideas will be great, tia Grin

I got my DH a personalised 'gig' ticket on eBay last Christmas, was about £3 and looked fab.. I hid it in the tree for last, but mabye get a calender or mug of her artist & hide it in there?

I bought DD1 concert tickets as a present a couple of years ago and had a jigsaw made at the Tesco photo printing department telling her about it.

Does the artist/group have a calendar? You could mark the date of the concert and then get her to fill in family birthdays etc so she spots it.

I've done ticket in a balloon, in a big box of balloons. Last year didn't have the ticket, so bought a calendar and highlighted the date

Calendar of the band - not just a random one!

Love these ideas, especially the calendar one, artist is billie eilish..thinking about maybe some merch aswell but it's so expensive for the official stuff.

We did a voucher with the band's photo on the cover and the details of date and venue.

As she jumped up and down and run around the room I think it worked. We included a promise to buy something at the concert, so she got a £50 hoody later.

For my daughter’s birthday in the summer (Ed Sheeran gig), I got her a personalised Ed Sheeran birthday card from eBay (£3ish) and worded it so it sounded like it came from him: Happy birthday - you’re coming to my concert!

This card, and add:
"...but I'll see you in July"
at the bottom.

Then, whilst she's puzzling over that, give her a B.E. calendar with the actual concert date marked in red, as suggested upthread?

As a child (in the 90s) my first gig tickets were given to me by a close family friend. She got me a VHS of the band (boyzone haha) and when the video started to play, it said something like "Coles85 you'll be going to see BoyZone live on x date at x location" I was so excited, plus it also meant I had the video as a reminder. Could you do something like that? Obviously not on VHS Grin

I did this with Hamilton tickets - wrapped a copy of the soundtrack with a printout of the tickets (minus price) inside.

Oh so many fab suggestions, thank you all!
I think I'll definitely get the calendar and mark the date, also like the themed Xmas card too!

I used Boomf for DM concert tickets last year. They've got 11% off atm. I posted the code on the bargains thread
