Experience presents for family with a 10 and 14 year old

I am really struggling with what to buy my DS's for Christmas. They are not really into stuff and the things they are interested in they generally have all the things they want. They like going out and doing things so I think I will get them some "experiences".

I need ideas though. So far,

I have already booked to go see Star Wars at the Cinema
Going to book a local Escape Room experience.

Please add to the list if you can.

Go ape or similar. Escape rooms good.

Depends on how much you want to spend.

my DC loved 10 pin bowling at that age. For the cinema, you could make a voucher and wrap with a bag of popcorn.

People keep buying us experience presents and it a royal pain in the arse to be honest.

Theme park. Depending on location you are in. We got our DS tickets to legoland for his birthday this year and he loved it. For that age mabey Thorpe park or Alton towers.

Is there a water park near you?
Could try rock climbing theres clip n climb centres all over the UK.
As a PP has said go ape is pretty fun.
Tickets to local attraction so in London say London eye, or bristol say the ss great britan. Obviously these ones depend on what's near you.

Also love the idea of family days out rather then stuff for Christmas.

Treasure hunt - we've done several from the website Treasure Trails. Cheap but fun.
Go karting.
Ice skating - do you have a pop up rink for Christmas near you?
Try a new sport - taster session for velodrome cycling, skiing, indoor surfing - depends what's available in your area.
Craft or cookery workshop?

Merlin passes, or a season ticket to a local attraction?

I was going to say an Annual Pass for somewhere. It makes it so much easier to go for a couple of hours instead of needing to go for a whole day and get your money's worth. So you have more family days out.

At the same age we did an indoor skydiving experience.

Or there are indoor skiing places (would recommend Milton Keynes one but don't know where you are based) with beginner lessons or open skiing.

Both pricey if you want a good package, and depends where you are based. But totally worth it imo and have the "wow" factor if they haven't tried it before.

10 is old enough for driving experiences as well.

Bonus with indoor stuff is that you can book it for just after Xmas and not worry about weather.
