What are you getting your 6yo boy?

Looking for medium sized present ideas for 6yo ds. He's asking for a leapfrog rockit twist as his main present, and I was thinking maybe a box of starter Lego for him too (has Duplo but no proper Lego). But I'm stumped after that. He's into cars but already has loads of them and a good few RC cars/helicopters too. He's really inquisitive/curious and always on the go so not really the type to sit and play for long.

Help please! I have load of ideas for his younger sister as she's into nail polish and jewellery sets but can't come up with much for him 🙈

This little Robot looks like good fun, we’ve bought one for ds8. [[https://www.wickeduncle.co.uk/presents/boys/age-6/quizzie-robot Quizzie also looks good.

At 6 ds was very much into LEGO and as you’re thinking about this for your ds then I highly recommend going with the Lego City range. In particular the police rescue/mountain rescue type sets and he also loves the space range. IMO they represent better value than the “themed” sets. If it’s a hit you’ve got birthday and Christmas ideas for quite a few years Wink.

At that age he also liked board games, Imaginext (batman), various cartoon/film action figures, a marble run etc.

As he’s active he might like one of these which were a big hit with both of mine last year. And they’re in the 2 for £15 offer.

He might like a fitness tracker. Lots of fairly cheap ones on Amazon with good reviews.

For my stepson we have bought the playmobil space rocket, some accessories to go with it (extra spacemen etc) a huge case of arty things, a microscope (not an expensive one), one of the cheaper hot wheels sets and I'm not sure what else we will go for some hoping some more people come along with suggestions! He did ask for a Novie robot and I seen a vtech watch that you can play games and take photos with that I thought he might like, can't remember exactly what it's called though.

Just wondering, do you all always give your children a 'big' present? We seem to have just bought medium sort of things for stepson but still spent a fair amount of money...
