Christmas Playlist - please suggest some really great songs

I'm so fed up with all the same old songs at Christmas.

I had a trawl through Spotify last year, and came up with That'll Be Christmas by Thea Gilmore and Jingle Bells by the Foden Courtois Band (if you haven't ever heard this version, you really should!).

But I still need more variety. I'm looking for upbeat, maybe a bit quirky stuff.

Please recommend me your favourites

I love a bit of alternate Christmas music and am listening to it as I type - albums on my playlist that perhaps fit the bill:

I love Wilde Winter Songbook by Kim Wilde - some covers, some originals but good.

Maybe also try the soundtrack to Love The Coopers and if you're feeling a bit jazzy the soundtrack to A Charlie Brown Christmas by Vince Guaraldi.

Any of Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Christmas themed albums.

At the risk of sounding very uncool (or very cool!) The Jethro Tull Christmas Album.

There was also a really good Christmas song a few years ago that was almost The Noisettes but wasn't which I loved but for the life of me I can't remember what it was.

Oh, also Christmas of Love by Little Isidore and The Inquisitors from The Grinch - loooove that.

Must be Santa by Bob Dylan.
