I’m talking bedding, towels & tea towels currently stored under a bed šŸŽ„

Yep

Trewser · 24/10/2019 10:53

No, i put it away clean.

Trewser · 24/10/2019 10:53

Tbh i only have a couple of tea towels and tablecloths. No actual bedding.

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 24/10/2019 10:54

Christmas Linen? Have I been missing an excuse for new shit?

ExpletiveDEVILighted · 24/10/2019 10:55

No, they've been in the airing cupboard all year with the other sheets and towel so they are clean. If they'd been in the loft or shed I would.

CalmFizz · 24/10/2019 10:56

I think it depends how you store it. I have a linen table cloth that creases to buggery, so I end up washing it again just to iron out the folds.

I think there’s a post use wash to clean things, but unless it’s been kept in an airtight box/vacuum bag it might need a light wash as a freshen up.

elQuintoConyo · 24/10/2019 10:57

WTAF? Shock what's all that?

I have a festive tablecloth and napkins that get put away clean. Don't bother with the other stuff - lack of money and storage space!

CrazyBaubles · 24/10/2019 11:47

I sadly do not have Christmas bedding as DH has begged for one Christmas free room ā˜¹ļø
I don't re-wash the table cloth, runner or tea towels because they're put away clean and I can't be bothered

LeftoverPizza · 24/10/2019 12:12

I do

WagtailRobin · 24/10/2019 13:32

My mum has Linen Christmas designed tablecloth/napkins etc and she washes them before putting them away but washes them again when she takes them out again.

I'd definitely freshen them up if I was you.

MrsPear · 24/10/2019 13:39

I pick a nice day and air them.

linentowel · 24/10/2019 18:34

Yes, I do unless it’s a cold, dry day and I can get them outside for a good blow about.

Can’t wait! We’ve all got Christmas duvets!

livingthegoodlife · 24/10/2019 20:33

I don't bother, they're kept in a heated cupboard all year and still smell very fresh when I get them out. I only re-wash the tablecloth to get the creases out!

Shufflebumnessie · 24/10/2019 20:39

I pack them away clean but they live in the loft for 11 months of the year so I give them a quick, low temperature wash just to freshen them up.

JessicaRarebit · 24/10/2019 20:44

Hold on.....there are Christmas towels? furiously types in google

TheScruffyDog · 24/10/2019 21:01

They go away clean and live in a drawer under the bed but I wash them anyway so they are nice and fresh.

TulipsTulipsTulips · 24/10/2019 21:02

What is Christmas linen?????????????????

AdalindMeisner · 24/10/2019 21:04

Yes bit they are stored in ottoman bed and everything in there gets so bloody dusty for some reason.

Northernsoullover · 24/10/2019 21:04

No but my bedding is winter (polar bears) so I get it out in October and it goes away in March. However if it was just December type bedding I probably wouldn't wash it unless it had been languishing unwashed in the bottom of my washing basket.

quincejamplease · 24/10/2019 21:11

YABU for not adequately explaining about Christmas linen.

Redcrayons · 24/10/2019 21:15

No Christmas bedding but I have table cloths, napkins, a couple of throws and some hand towels.
And yes I wash them and put them away in the loft and then get them out and wash them again.

speakout · 24/10/2019 21:20

No.

If they were stored under a bed then maybe I would,
I store mine in a well aired linen cupboard.

Musicalstatues · 24/10/2019 21:21

Yes definitely! Obviously they’re washed and out away clean but that doesn’t change the fact they’ve been stored for 11 months so while not ā€˜dirty’ they’re certainly going to need freshening up. Just the same as I will wash all my Christmas jumpers before I start wearing them again too.

DramaAlpaca · 24/10/2019 21:25

Christmas linen? I don't have any of that. I don't even have a festive tablecloth. Hmm, I might need to go shopping.

Hadenoughofitall441 · 24/10/2019 22:42

Yep the bedding for sure, the tea towel we usually use all year round and just get new ones each year. The bedding is at the back of linen cupboard so defo gets washed before it goes on. Got new ones this year as last year the buttons all broke.
