Children's cook book recommendations

For an 8 year old who has started to show an interest in helping her Mum and Dad on the kitchen. I know i can google but would like to know it's one that is worth buying. My kids loved Roal Dahl's revolting recipes, any other suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

We have DKs step by step cookbook. Has photos of each step my son loves it. Does have lots of sugary things in but healthy foods too.

Yes the DK books seem to be good. I've ordered this veggie one for ds8.

I've heard Nadiyas bake me a story is a good one for young dc too.

Watching with interest as dd10 wants some cooking and baking books but is adamant she doesn't want anything "babyish"!

Our favourites are the Usborne Beginners’ Cookbook, Cool Kids Cook and the DK one mentioned by PP.

I have the usbourne beginners cookbook. We find it really useful. It has useful family meals and not too childish either.

I also love the Usborne Beginners Cookbook. The also have one called Start to Cook which looks good.

My daughter loves the Tilly Ramsey cook book, having watched the series on TV.
