Great deal! Just got a new Nintendo switch for £213

Very.com have got new battery Nintendo switches for £20 off (so £259) and if you open a new account and buy one, you get £50 account credit put against it. We've just done it as we don't shop with very. Switch arrives on Saturday.

I'm over the moon as it's the one thing ds really wants and £279 was too much.

Hope this helps someone!

Thank you so much. Just ordered for ds Birthday. Really appreciate that.

bikinibottommuffintop · 27/09/2019 09:34

Thanks OP. I’ve ordered, email confirmation showing the £50 discount but my bank showing the amount with no discount taken Confused. Fingers crossed they refund the £50 at some point

ConstanzaAndSalieri · 27/09/2019 09:56

Thank you, I’ve done this too.

teatimedreamer · 27/09/2019 10:01

My husband did the actual ordering and he said he ordered it and the £50 credit was then added after. It's showing as £213 on the account to be paid, if that makes sense?

I ordered but haven’t had an email confirmation.

lululup · 27/09/2019 12:42

@bikinibottommuffintop
I made the same mistake. I think you have to create an account and then pay later. I've had to phone for a refund of the visa payment. It's confusing. Not sure I have it right.

bikinibottommuffintop · 27/09/2019 13:36

I live chatted with Very and apparently the £50 will go back onto my debit card when the switch is dispatched.

lululup · 27/09/2019 14:43

Ah damn I am so confused!

lululup · 27/09/2019 14:43

Weird way of doing business.

HoHoHolyCow · 27/09/2019 19:31

This is great! Thanks OP! Just ordered one.

Isitreallyworthit · 28/09/2019 09:36

Anyone know if it’s still better to get a deal with a game included?
I’m totally confused by all the options!
Also do you need to buy additional controllers?

teatimedreamer · 28/09/2019 11:25

Most of the deals I've seen with a game included are for the slightly older model with less processing / battery power. Depends what your priorities are I guess. We needed more battery power!

Thank you, husband just bought one because he was going to buy one today anyway!

lululup · 28/09/2019 15:04

@bikinibottommuffintop

Did the £50 go bank on?

bikinibottommuffintop · 28/09/2019 15:32

Yep! £50 back on my card and switch arrived this morning!

lululup · 28/09/2019 15:42

Thanks. Not sure what I've done!

Reallywhataday · 28/09/2019 23:22

Thanks for this. Bought it just now. Money saved means I can buy an extra game or two.

Imustbemad00 · 05/10/2019 17:20

I’ve had a similar deal but I was an existing customer so not as good. It was £20 off already and then a 10% credit back offer. So I ordered it on my account on 12 months interest free for £259.99 and then they will credit £26 to my account next month so the balance to pay will be £233.99. I can then pay it in full or pay it off with no interest at any point over 12 months.

Imustbemad00 · 05/10/2019 17:21

The credit back deals normal go back on your very account not into your bank.
I’ve also used the 20% back when you spend £150 on toys this week.
