Hi everyone. I always buy my son a Lego advent calendar every Christmas but I think he is growing out of them now. Does anyone have any ideas for advent calendars for older boys? I'm not getting much inspiration online. Thanks

Lego Star Wars calendar? Dh wanted one for himself but as ds wants one as well dh goes without.

Following for ideas. My DS 15 just always asks for a chocolate one. Last year I got him a big Dairy Milk football one but I always feel a bit bad as my daughter gets a fancier one like Harry potter or make up but he is quite happy with the chocolate.

My teens still want the lego star wars advent calendar - when I tentatively asked last year if they still wanted it they were faux shocked and insisted it was part of the Christmas tradition. So I'd ask first! Mine are nearly 16 and 14 and rarely play with any other lego.

I've actually bought him the Lego Star Wars advent calendar for the last couple of years but he didn't really make most of it up last year. However when I mentioned to him he might like another one he was horrifiedSmile He says it's part of the Christmas tradition!

I’ve seen expensive Harry Potter and Marvel calendars in John Lewis www.johnlewis.com/funko-marvel-advent-calendar/p4733213

There is a slightly cheaper Harry Potter calendar here www.menkind.co.uk/harry-potter-wizarding-world-advent-calendar

This Haynes Electronic Games one is more reasonable www.menkind.co.uk/haynes-electronic-games-advent-calendar

@Wellhellothere101 I can relate to this Grin. DH and I enjoyed making up the unloved ones.

How old is he? I'm making a Pokemon advent calendar for my son, but don't know if your older child is say 9 or 15! 😉

The Popfunk Marvel Advent looks good although pricey at £40.

My DS will be 20 and still wants a chocolate advent (usually a Malteasers one )

DS has one last year where you got components to build a radio.

Lynx has one at superdrug

Ds had a Bonne Maman jam calendar last year it was a really big hit (from Costco)

Good ideas thanks. I like the look of the Hayes electronic one. I forgot to say he's 9. He's not massively into Harry Potter or football.
