What will you be buying your babies for Christmas? Mine will be 7 months old and I've got no idea!

Our dd was 7 and a half for her first Xmas. We got her a bear that played music, couple of other toys with buttons, rattles. Most toys were 6+ months

My DS was 6 months last Christmas. I didn't get him loads but two things that were a hit were some seal bath toys and a stuffed jelly cat whale. He loved at and still does.

For DDs first Christmas I got a '1st Christmas photo album', some lovely clothes that she needed, and that was about it - she didn't need anything, and family got her toys like a little ball pool and things.

I'm due in 2 weeks so DS won't be very old at Christmas so I'm just buying cot mobile, buggy toys or toys he can grow into up until his 1st birthday x

My DS will only be 5.5 months. I'll buy him a few toys, bath toys etc

I have DD2 so I’m hoping to just wrap up a few of DD1’s old toys but if I was buying again I would get

Stacking cups

Books

DD2 will be 3 months old, and she's getting those squeaky eggs and some books. Her stocking will be things she'd need anyway so some socks, muslins, etc (the stocking is largely for the benefit of older DC who would ask questions if she didn't have one!)

Books, musical instruments, shape shorter, clothing

DS was about 5mo last year. He mainly got some of DD's old toys/books wrapped up! And he was just starting to enjoy the bath so I got him some new bath toys to replace ones that were getting a bit worn, and some stacking cups. It was all mainly for DD's benefit but he still likes them.

For DD's first Christmas she was about 9mo. She got some wooden puzzles, a few books and a singing/light-up Makka Pakka. DS plays with it now so it was worthwhile!

I'm due at the end of October so baby will only be a couple of months old. To be honest, if it weren't for my DSC, I probably wouldn't get much but they will expect her to have a stocking from Father Christmas and presents from us. I've got a few books, bath toys, sippy cup and will probably get a plate set. I'll also wrap up some clothes I've already bought for her and put away.

DS was 6mo for his first christmas and his favourite present was from MIL - some bells he could jingle! He loved them! We got him a sit to stand station (it was rubbish, do not recommend) and a walker.

AnxiousFTM · 24/09/2019 11:53

My DD will be 4 months, we are planning to get her a few basic light/sound toys, bath toys, any clothes bits that she needs at the time and also want to get her a special keepsake that we can get out each year, thinking maybe a little snow globe.

Great! Thanks for the ideas Smile
