Any ideas about where to buy them? I wanted them last year but DH was all bah humbug. I've won this year but I have to source Grin.

I bought mine from Tesco - I love them (my DH was also a bit of a humbug about them but I bought them in a January sale 2 years ago and put them on the tree in the garden myself while he was out Xmas Grin)

I got some white ones from b&m. They had coloured aswell.

I've never had outdoor lights before so I actually don't know where to put them. Don't have any trees.

Maybe I shouldn't have bought them 😂

Depends what kind. Leds - pretty much anywhere that sells Christmas lights. Homebase have a pretty big selection of lights usually. As do Studio online.
Softer, prettier proper bulbs- try eBay. But make sure they're suitable for outdoor use.

@Morgan12. You could put up an artificial tree outside. Or do you have a hedge? Round the front door (on a garland maybe) also looks nice.

I need some outdoor lights to cheer me up so following this. I’ve got an outdoor plug, but it would only take a usual sized plug to keep water proof and not the big bulky plugs and the transformer would need to be waterproof as well. Also thinking old school more bigger bulb looking type than LEDs and was thinking not the supermarkets but would have to get them somewhere more specialist? DH wants to make the garage look like Santa’s grotto!

Always wanted outdoor lights but really don't wanna pay the electricity bill for something I can't see 😆🤣
