Hi,

Can anyone confirm if the house comes fully furnished? I can see on the descriptions that it has some furniture but it doesn’t say exactly what. And I’ve seen that they are selling furniture parcels so assume you have to buy these as well so it has enough furniture?

Thanks to anyone that can answer Smile

hello

we got the LOL house last year, comes with plenty of furniture, no need for extra packs

it did take DH a good 2/3 hours to build, so be warned about that!

PinkJam · 22/09/2019 08:44

@ClosedAuraOpenMind Thank you! I won’t buy the furniture packs then. Haha and thank you for the tip re the time to build it!

The furniture packs are themed to the dolls , so there’s different things included

PinkJam · 23/09/2019 10:40

@TheGirlWhoLived Thanks, but is there room in the house for the additional furniture if furniture already comes with it?

Yeah, there is enough room to update things.... not sure how much of the furniture is in ours at the min and how much it’s filled with Lego Grin I’ll go take a pic...

TheGirlWhoLived · 24/09/2019 17:10

Ignore the fact it’s wedged behind ANOTHER dolls house, but you can get the gist of house to furniture ratio

There’s a toilet and bath in the bathroom, and maybe a little dressing table downstairs on the right?

PinkJam · 24/09/2019 18:54

@TheGirlWhoLived Thank you very much for that, it’s really helpful. I might suggest the furniture packs to family when they ask what to buy DC. Thanks again Smile

Do you mind if I jump on this thread to ask another question about this house? Dd really wants this and keeps going on about it having seventy ‘surprises’. If I buy it second hand, does this totally eliminate the surprise element?!

unicornsandmermaids · 24/09/2019 19:32

I'd say the surprise is the unboxing of all the furniture and the exclusive dolls so I think it would take away the surprise element if buying second hand

TheGirlWhoLived · 24/09/2019 19:35

No worries! The surprises were more about unboxing the cardboard van... so could easily be rectified with some gift bags, I can’t remember there being the unwrappable doll in it, they were just in a box!

If it’s the surprise bits she particularly wants then one of the furniture packs comes with a little mini car which is a surprise Grin

PinkJam · 25/09/2019 07:25

@StephenKingsHappyEnding and anyone else.

Argos have reduced the house to £135. And Smyths have it at £169.99 but with their sale on of £10 off every £50 spent then that takes it to £139.99. Depends where the stores have stock but usually Smyths website is good for checking stock before you go to the store so you know if it’s worth the trip.

@PinkJam thanks so much for the heads up. I have ordered it for dd for Xmas. It’s her birthday in two weeks and I’ve told her there’s no way she’s getting one so hopefully it will be a big surprise at Christmas.

PinkJam · 25/09/2019 18:37

@StephenKingsHappyEnding You’re welcome, glad it was of use. I’m sure you’re little one will love it Smile
