Finding somewhere to eat on Christmas Day

This Christmas my parents are coming to visit and as a treat we are eating out on Christmas Day. I have seen on here people saying they go to Chinese restaurants. I have tried looking at restaurants open on Christmas Day and have found some chains but that do quite traditional options but nothing independent.

If you eat out how do you find places that are open?

where are you based op? someone might be able to recommend a restaurant near you. often places advertise in their windows if they are open xmas day

We have had Indian takeaway for the last 5 years on Xmas Day, they also do eat in options including traditional Turkey dinner.

We go out for a curry.
Usually bring home enough for Boxing Day breakfast too
