Xbox games, lego, playmobil, colouring and craft supplies were big hits in our house.
I didn't really buy anything that didn't get touched this year to be honest. Oh and my dm got ds some binoculars that he loves.

Bought lots of hot wheels stuff last year. Now sitting gathering dust as DS no longer interested.

Going to buy an all in one snorkelling mask as he is a water baby.

DS loves all the Orchard games and it's a constant 'play with me' pleading I hear. It's a good way to interact with kids. He has x box, and most of the above.

We have a jacuzzi in a summerhouse which is in use all year round but that's a rather expensive option lol!

My son's are sports mad so football related gifts go down well. Balls, boots, shin pads, sticker books, etc

I also like reading with them and this year I've had my first book published :) - It's Christmas related so will be reading that with them lot's

Highly recommend magnatiles (or whatever non-branded version is going cheap - they often crop up on the bargain threads). DS has some, probably in his top 5 most played with toys, great for open-ended play and whenever we've taken them on family visits everyone always wants to play with him with them meaning I don't have to

DS1 was just 6 last Xmas...

Lego. Board games (Junior Monopoly was a big hit). Swing ball set for the garden.
