Kids fit bit type watch?

Ds8 has asked for one. I don’t want to spend a fortune as he’s notoriously faddy so wondered if anyone could recommend an alternative to an actual fit bit suitable for an 8 year old? Ideally one that doesn’t need to be linked to a phone in any way seeing as he doesn’t have one!

Thanks!

Our 8yr old has the Garmin viviofit jr. It's battery operated so doesn't need charging and although it can be used with an app you don't have to. You can get it with an adjustable strap or one that's just a stretchy band. He's had it for a year and a half and not taken it off once!

I think I’m hoping for a recommendation for one of the cheaper knock off type ones as ds is highly likely to be completely fascinated with it for 2 months and then stop using it altogether! If he proves me wrong he might be in with a chance of getting a Garmin Grin

Hi Musicalstatues, I got two from Ali Express, 6 quid each, my son loves it and I use the other one, and I have an Actual Fitbit, find the copy from ali express better, tracks sleep, steps, calories burnt and tells the time etc.

Honestly don't spend big money on one, look up kids smart watches or fit bits and order one of the ones with plenty of reviews. They come in different colour straps etc
