Family gift idea - personalised calendar

I had an idea this morning for a personalised gift I think they’d love - a calendar personalised with family photos.

I thought I could do one for DH’s family too (parents, grandparents and siblings) maybe

Any tips on how to or where to buy would be appreciated. Vista Print are a good price, about £12 for a decent sized one, but don't know which are best for quality.

I want the ones that have a box to write in (some just have big numbers and no space for appointments etc) and also thought the family planners would be good for the ones with kids....

It's a good idea but I haven't used a written calendar since I was at school - I just use a digital one. Worth checking your relatives would actually use it.

I use Vistaprint every year and I pay extra for the glossy paper, it makes a big difference I think.

Do DH and Grandparents one each with photos of the kids.

What's gone down well here is when I use photos from the previous year too, so for January 2020 use photos from January 2019 etc. Good way to remember what you done that month and also to see how the kids have changed.

I was thinking of coordinating months maybe eg birthday or wedding pictures but overall was thinking of maybe using older photos or ones with a few of us in.

I think they would use them. My mum and aunts won’t use electronic diaries and probably are hit and miss with calendars but I think they’d use it if it has family photos on. It’s hard to find out without asking and that ruins the surprise!
