Dd (2.5) keeps asking for a pink present and a green present (two separate things). What would you get? I have no idea what's green, maybe dinosaurs? We don't need any more soft toys!

Wrap one thing in pink paper and one in green. Sorted!

Orangepear · 21/08/2019 09:38

Play dough!

EB100 · 21/08/2019 09:49

Maybe a cute little bag or backpack?

ItsAHardKn0ckLife1 · 21/08/2019 09:58

Slime Grin

Abouttime1978 · 21/08/2019 10:02

Pink light up shoes!

Green toy or Disney towel?

areyounow · 21/08/2019 10:08

Bag might be a good shout. She has no interest in play doh, I'm NOT buying slime Grin and she has purple light up shoes, otherwise that'd be a really good idea.

When ds asked me for a red present it turned out he just wanted the presents he had asked for in red paper. He had a book about Christmas and Santa had a sack full of red presents so he wanted one. He didn’t care what was inside!

katewhinesalot · 21/08/2019 10:10

I think the wrapping paper is crucial

EvaHarknessRose · 21/08/2019 10:11

She definitely means the wrapping!

Rainbowqueeen · 21/08/2019 10:13

One of those hoodie towels?

Pink fairy dress

You can get cute loofah type washers for the bath in the shape of animals that are coloured

There’s a book called where is the green sheep? Also the book called pinkalicious

Pjs
Dressing gown

Hair scrunchies

Packets of jelly!!

Windydaysuponus · 21/08/2019 17:39

In the stocking so she gets her requests ASAP. Or she will think Santa hasn't listened!!
My ds once sobbed at his stocking as some really trivial 'essential' wasn't there!
In our house 'The Stocking' is crucial.

Your just entering the age realms of toy catalogue wish lists - great for rainy afternoons. Let her rip out all the pink things she likes and all the green things she likes.

AmIThough · 21/08/2019 17:42

To be honest I'd remember that it's only August and she'll have forgotten in 4 months time Grin

I also think she's talking about the wrapping though.

TheSandgroper · 22/08/2019 04:13

The book of the hungry caterpillar (green) and a plate set of something pink? I have seen flamingo picnicy stuff around here lately (Oz).

hormonesorDHbeingadick · 22/08/2019 07:48

Is there something specific she has in mind? Last year DD wanted a pink thing. Eventually I worked out it was a pink dressing table.

mummmy2017 · 22/08/2019 09:23

Toothbrush?

nancy75 · 22/08/2019 09:25

Ask her to draw them, she might mean a particular thing or she might just mean the wrapping paper

NameChange84 · 22/08/2019 09:30

One of my favourite toys growing up was a big Jeremy Fisher stuffed frog toy, could be an idea for green?

I think she means the wrapping too.
