Good thread OP. It gets harder as they get older I think. And more expensive.
I’ve had previous success with a diary where I’ve added vouchers or tickets in various pages. Some will be small like a Costa or milkshake voucher or a cinema ticket. A bigger present could be a ticket to a show.
