Christmas gift ideas

Hi all

I thought Id start a tread where we could swap ideas for gifts to get.

I mainly have to get gift for our 2 dds, one age 3 and one age 5, my DH, my parents, grandmother and 2 * great-grandmothers.

The dds get as a combined gift tickets to a Paw Patrol musical show.
Then I´m thinking of getting dd age 5 a bike, but don´t know if its the wrong season to get?
dd age 3 wishes a doll that looks like her, so if any know where you can buy a Asian looking doll, I would highly appreciate recommendations.

Apologize in advance for grammatical and spelling mistakes, I´m Danish (living in DK) so not fluent in English.

early years resources have a stock of multicultural dolls. I would go ahead with the bike, there will be a few dry days in the winter when she can use it and lots of time in the summer.

Hi OP. I think the bike for the 5 year old sounds like a good idea. However can I pass on this tip that was given to me. Can your DD ride a bike already? If so no problem. If she can't then pick a cheap second hand bike now and some stabilisers. Get her to learn on the second hand bike. My son learnt to stop by launching himself off the bike and letting it crash before we could convince him to.use the brakes.

That way there will be no scrapes, falls or tears of frustration over Christmas. By that time she will be able to ride a bike and will be excited to get her shiny new bike. Then you can donate the second hand one. Good place for second bikes is Gumtree, Facebook selling pages cards in newsagents windows etc.

Also, the three year may like a scooter or something similar if her big sister is outside on Christmas morning.
