Like Bakewell, I always aim to be done by December 1st, but have never yet achieved that!
So far I am doing well though - DH has; shirts x 3, jumper, socks, wine, only a case of beer and he's done. Kids (30s) have most of their stocking fillers; HP sweets, socks/tights, car paraphernalia, just some LUSH bits and scratch cards to add. DSS has a Timberland jumper and t shirt, 3 pack of Jack Wills boxers. DSD (I find her harder to buy for), has a perfume. I've picked a book for each but not bought those yet, the selection boxes as per tradition can't be bought yet, but their pets have antler shaped chews and Christmas toys stashed on top of the spare room wardrobe.
Mum has a Christmas jumper, some unusual mixers for gin, also socks. Aunt and uncles have novelty plant ties, cousin's cat has a snowman treat dispenser. SIL has a Pandora Christmas charm I got last week in their sale. DNephew5 has a sequin dinosaur t shirt, a Christmas jumper, 'The Nights Before Christmas' book, a toy tractor, some Christmas craft stuff, some smiggle pencils, and a Toy Story jigsaw. (Jumper, book and craft stuff mostly for my own enjoyment to be given on family holiday before Christmas).
Younger DNeices have craft sets; sun catchers, sewing kits, paint-your-own windchimes, and a Christmas headband each (bought in January). DNiece 20 has a make up brush set, a HP niffler toy, and some nail polish.
Friends have more of the plant ties, gardening gloves, tea towels, wine. Colleagues x 4 all have socks, their dogs x 5 all have antler chews.
DDog has quite the selection of toys and treats - including Santa's sleigh (full of dog treats, obvs) complete with several reindeer, tastelessly executed in rawhide
. She also has a totally unnecessary new coat. I must stop buying for her (but I keep eyeing up a bowl with stars on in the local pet shop, and she really does need a new bed, and also, Christmas jumpers...)
