Hasn’t been for a while....

What would you be looking at getting her for Christmas

She likes reading and arts and crafts things.

But anything to try and get her interest would be awesome

Christmas is much too far away for planning what presents to get a 6-year-old. You have no idea what she will be into in a few months' time. I'd leave it until towards the end of October if I were you.

My 6 year old DD also not into toys really. She will still build Lego but mostly she likes stationery from smiggle, books and puzzles

I have a DC who wasn’t really into toys and liked doing things. How about an instrument (recorder? Drum kit?)? Or Lego - my DC liked to build it even though he wasn’t interested in playing with it afterwards. Something sporty - a tennis racket or basketball hoop? Or, as she likes crafts, something like a model you make and paint? Or sewing stuff?

I'd be thinking about this in November at the earliest.

A kindle that she can use for reading children's books? Or an audio book subscription so she can listen to children's stories? Craft kits from Hobbycraft or similar? Or even ticket for a special theatre show?

My DD was the same .
I got her dress up type stuff as she liked books and characters and role play .

Eg I bought an IKea mini table with two little chairs , little plates ,cutlery , little vase ,table cloth .... small notecbooks from Asda and a little apron ..
she came down to find Santa had left a Little restaurant for her and spent many a happy hour taking orders and serving her customers ( teddies if no humans available !)

I did quite a few variations of this kind of thing .., please pm me if it is of interest...,

What about a Toucan Box subscription? Different craft project to make each time and comes in a box through your letterbox? www.toucanbox.com

I know it’s only July but it’s been like this for months

Thank you for the ideas though. It makes an interesting start

My very nearly 6 year old ds is the same. I'm getting a massive box and filling it up with a years worth of craft supplies and kits. Books, science kits, roller skates or a skate board. A paint your own canvas, xbox game a lego clock for his room which he will love. A telescope, musical instruments, dvds and favourite food treats.

My 6 year old has enjoyed a glitter lamp for her room and a ribbon on a stick from Smiggle. Also a neon art pad.
