Is 8 a good age for a Nintendo Switch?

Yes I realise I’m a twat and it’s May. But DS will be 8 just before Xmas and I’m wondering if that’s a good age to get the Switch for him as his present?

We really like the Nintendo Switch. Particularly the Nintendo Labo sets & Zelda Game.

It's actually quite a fragile piece of kit, particularly the clips that attach the removable controllers to the screen part.

My 8 year old loves his, but yes we have had to replace one joystick that he presses too hard! (Was only a few pounds to replace though).

We got our DD who will be 8 in Sept one in May and she loves it. (so do we)
