My DP bought me Samsonite suitcase, a lovely water/wind proof jacket and lots of other goodies....what was the highlight? A 50's style cream enamel flour dredger - I love it :)

What's your surprise that you should hate but secretly love?

A unicorn shaped tea pot, it's a real "WTF??" Present, except that I'm secretly an 8 year old girl pretending to be grown up.... so I love it!!

Socks! Especially cosy ones. I have now made this common knowledge and got lots of socks this year.

A lovely pair of fluffy, spotty bed socks. Genuinely love them.

I got a mug from DParents (amonst other things) which though I have a gazillion mugs really is perfect cup of tea size

It was my DS’s first time buying us presents from his own pocket money and his own choice- he got me a face mask, a teenage type one and not the kind id ever usually pick but I love it because he really tried hard to think what I might like 💕

A box of Gulyian chocolate seashells, I know they were on offer for under a fiver in all the supermarkets and were a last minute effort from DH when my 2yo announced he wanted to buy mummy and daddy and the baby presents on the 23rd December but they are genuinely my favourites and way better than the big Hotel Chocolat assortment DH bought me!

Dss bought us a kettle, because when he phoned me a couple of weeks ago I was moaning about how slow ours was. It sounds like a really strange gift, but I love it - it's speedy and stylish.
