Gift ideas for 1 month old

Please help! We have no idea what to get our nephew. What's handy to have for a 0-3 month old? He's 6 weeks old on Christmas.

Get him an outfit or vests/baby gro and a book for babies his parents won't expect much

My First Christmas outfit. It will be one of the 6 outfits he will probably piddle/puke on through the day so clean clothes will be handy for the parents.

Depends on your budget but there's all sorts you could buy. Rattles, teething toys, baby gym, cute mobile, teddy bear, music mat, bath toys. At 6 weeks he's not going to do a whole lot so you're buying for a stage up.

Otherwise you could go for practical gifts such as clothes in the next size up or a nice blanket.

Oh and packs of nappies, wipes, calpol, bum cream and (if needed) formula. Last thing mum and dad need is to run out on the day the shops are closed.

Clothes in the next size up are always good, toys thay can be attached to a buggy or play gym, a soft book, socks/muslins/baby towels are useful.
