Best frozen Xmas food

Am going to do the food shopping this weekend and would like to buy frozen rather than fresh on some things (big chest freezer, limited fridge space).

Any recommendations for good frozen:

  • roast potatoes
  • honey roast parsnips
  • red cabbage
  • breakfast pastries
  • desserts

I've only ever seen frozen red cabbage in Tesco. If they don't have it at your supermarket, you could get prepared red cabbage from the chilled section and freeze it. Waitrose has a nice one with apple, red wine and cranberries.
M and S Belgian chocolate and cherry dessert won the dessert section of the BBC Goof Food taste tests 2018. Iceland came runner up with the Black Forest pavlova. The Black Forest pavlova also came runner up in Olive magazine's taste tests, which was won by Waitrose's raspberry and passion fruit meringue wreath.

Tesco do the best honey roast parsnips but you might struggle to get them!

Iceland do frozen red cabbage with apple that was lovely last year and I think can even be microwaved to save hob space
