I love my little scotch tape dispenser for wrapping gifts and although I have a few refills I decided to look for more only to discover it's now discontinued Sad

Do you mean the little ones? If so Sainsbury's have refills. I get to audit the stands for work Smile

PineappleTart · 20/12/2018 11:05

Yeah it's a little block of tabs of tape, saves me getting tape everywhere. I'll have a look there

I will be checking into Sainsbury’s for those as I always use them and last week W H Smiths said they are discontinued.

I am rubbish at wrapping and those little tabs really helped - I resorted to cutting little tabs from a roll of tape and lining them up on the edge of the table, it was not a success.

BearSoFair · 20/12/2018 19:24

I'd try WHSmith and ask someone, in the branch I work in we don't have them on shopfloor anymore as they're an old line but still have loads upstairs! I brought about 5 packs downstairs for a lady last week who had been struggling to find them anywhere else.

BigRedBoat · 20/12/2018 19:26

They are discontinued ☹️ there is some stock floating around in some shops but they're not making any more and there doesn't seem to be a similar replacement around.

woodhill · 20/12/2018 19:54

I love them too. Used to have them at Costco.

Still using mine

Bogiesaremyonlyfriend · 20/12/2018 21:03

Oh no! I loved mine. We've used washi tape this year in a bit to help the environment so not needed them but they were brilliant.

MutantDisco · 20/12/2018 21:17

I couldn't see any scotch tape in Sainsbos yesterday, have they stopped making it? Never loved the stuff, tbh...

Micke · 20/12/2018 21:24

Me too - I went to buy my yearly replacement as as usual I've lost my old one, and I've had to buy some sellotape version instead that takes a little roll. It's no-where near as good - the cutter is already gummed up, and it's hard to get the right length. I'm going to see if at least I can replace it with a scotch tape roll, as I think it tears better

ritzbiscuits · 20/12/2018 23:22

Amazon sell them

3M Scotch Magic Tape Dispensered Rolls, 19 mm x 25 m - Transparent https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000J63G6K/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_DqchCb7GA3DKN

Hohocabbage · 21/12/2018 09:28

The sellotape one that fits over your knuckles is the best ever imo and has massively reduced the time I spent wrapping

BigRedBoat · 21/12/2018 16:42

ritzbiscuits that's not the same thing, the one the OP wants dispenses pre-cut strips from a holster you wear on your hand, much better!

Apparently they have some at Ryman's?

jessstan2 · 21/12/2018 16:44

I have a few. I bought a couple from ebay because I'm always mislaying them so I have one in two rooms downstairs and on shelf in the hall :-).

CatsForLife · 21/12/2018 16:46

They had loads in the big clearance section upstairs in WH Smith in Cardiff a few weeks ago if that helps anyone.

DorothyHarris · 21/12/2018 16:47

@hohocabbage I'm thrilled to hear this 😂 I bought one and tackling the wrapping tonight but I really can't be arsed!

Hohocabbage · 21/12/2018 17:49

It’s like having an extra hand Grin

Paddington23 · 21/12/2018 17:53

I now use a roll of clear circle sticky disks of amazon there really big and easy to use

OvO · 21/12/2018 17:57

NOOOOOOOOOO. Whyyyyyyyy? How can they do this to me?

Those dispenser things are magic! Takes the rage out of wrapping.

CHRISTMAS IS RUINED.

goose1964 · 21/12/2018 20:34
