Whats your Christmas tipple of choice?

Looking for inspiration. I like a drink at Christmas but get bored with wine and lager. I always like the look of those new flavoured gins but I don't like gin 🤪
I like the idea of a drink that I can make last like a glass of wine.
Anyone suggest anything?

I love a nice bottle of port at Christmas. Perfect with the cheeseboard. Fino or manzanilla sherry are great aperitifs with savoury nibbles.

Alternatively, why not treat yourself to some rich, dark, strong Belgian Trappist beers? They are a great alternative to red wine.

I make my own mulled wine and toffee apple cider which is gorgeous!

@MrsGrindah it ms a cinnamon, cream and rum drink - but like Mexican horchata with booze . It's bloody amazing.

Snowball made with Warnink's - yeah, I know I'm sad but I've liked it ever since I was allowed a little as a child.

Baileys and Kings Ginger but not together

Ooh Kings Ginger is wonderful, thanks for reminding me I'll have to get some now. I quite like a drop of Malmsey over the festive season too.

Champagne or kir royale.

I've had a rather festive Negroni this evening

Campari and soda, tastes like medicine but is strangely nice

Frangelico - a hazelnut flavoured liqueur. It's bloody amazing!

Toffee Stolichnaya vodka and Fentimans ginger beer, (not ale) and loads of ice. Good any time of the year, but a bit seasonal because of the ginger.

Vanilla Absolut 😉

Gin, Calvados, Baileys — in that order

Rhubarb and ginger gin with lemonade for me and appletise for dh. Even ds (9) likes a drop of gin with a can of appletise 😂.

Im currently drinking home made orange and passion fruit marmalade gin! Bloody love it! Its going down a tray!

I don't drink (by choice) but I have bought:

Whisky for DH after looking at the recommendations on the whisky thread
Stell Artois in the Christmas bottle (Lidl) for DH

Smirnoff Ice and Baileys for DD

DS drinks cider but he won't drink at home . I might buy him a bottle of Toffee Apple Cider or Kopperberg otherwise he's on the J2O with me

Southern comfort with lime and ginger ale

Edinburgh rhubarb and ginger gin (it's a liqueur so not so gin tasting) with old Jamaica ginger beer 😍

M&S mince pie cream liqueur (currently half price, so £6 a bottle).

I'm sampling pink gin this year 😁

Parma violet gin and tonic
Mixed fruit koppaberg
Prosecco

I'm surprised no one has said mulled wine.

I stick to my usual white wine and baileys (not together)!
