What orders are you still waiting for?

I ordered some toys from The Works on Dec 7th that still haven't arrived and they need to be posted to their recipients on Thursday at the latest. Looking on their twitter page it's full of people complaining about similar issues. So I've raised a PayPal claim to get my dosh back and bought similar items from Amazon.

So, what are you still waiting for?

Order for my dad from a small company - very last minute order on Saturday though as my mum had just completely forgot to get him anything. I'll be very lucky if it arrives this week.

2 DPD orders coming on Friday when I'll be wfh - hockey gloves & small stocking filler for DH. Hopefully his gift card from Moss Bros arrives this week too.

Two personalised phone cases. I received them a week ago but they were both incorrect 😡 so they're being redone.

Playmobil castle from Amazon, ordered about a week ago (Prime) and expected tomorrow at the latest. Hope it arrives as we leave for Xmas away on Sat and don’t fancy trawling the shops so DS isn’t presentless!
Also a couple of stocking fillers for DH about other than that done I think!

1 shirt from River Island which I'm hoping arrives tomorrow. They'll still have gifts to open in case it doesn't arrive in time, it will just be less than the other piles.

He's 26 so highly doubt he'll sulk at fewer gifts if I pre-warn him something else is still en route!

Train set and electronic puppy from George at Asda, it's on click and collect for Thursday though rather than delivery.

I’m waiting for a t shirt for my son and a new bag for me.

The bag should’ve been here today. Royal Mail’s tracker had it down for delivery, the postman brought two parcels but not that one even though the tracker was saying it’d be delivered so I’ve still hung around only to have the tracker change to say that the item is being held at the delivery address on my request. I haven’t made any such request and have wasted a fucking day when I could’ve been doing something else.

Last minute eBay orders which are supposed to arrive Friday likely wishful thinking! I ended up paying more for things I needed in shops rather than risking ordering anything with days to spare. I had the same problem with the works it turned up after 2 weeks I didn’t get a confirmation I went in store to ask what was going on and they had it.

Only thing I’m waiting for is a Wreck It Ralph DVD from the Disney Store. I’ve received the rest of the order, just not that.

Lands End monogrammed blankets. Allegedly dispatched today but via Hermes - no tracking info yet. The other order of towels was dispatched yesterday (allegedly) and on the Hermes site still just shows as ‘order placed’

DS' Lego Batman fleece blanket and lampshade. The former is coming on Friday, according to Amazon and the latter was posted first class recorded today, so by Friday I'd think.

I'm collecting DD's dressing gown from Next on Friday. Then I am properly done!

I ordered an Amazon Echo and expected delivery this week, got a message this morning to say sorry but they can’t fulfil the order as they’ve completely sold out

Can’t find anywhere with them in stock and willing to deliver before Christmas (or January even).

It’s not for Christmas but DD’s birthday which is the 28th so it kind of counts.

Harry Potter wrapping paper for her presents. I stupidly forgot to get some when I got her cards, before all the birthday stuff was shipped out and Christmas stuff shipped in.

I saw it online, after spending forever looking, from a company called Typo. The paper was only £2.50 for 3 rolls in the sale but p & p was £4. Bit the bullet because it was my own stupid fault for not getting any and sucked up the p & p charge.

Order arrived yesterday, was not 3 rolls of paper but a Whisky drinkers set. Contacted them via live chat, all good they reordered paper should arrive in time and I could keep the set. Never received a confirmation email and not showing on my account. Just spoke to them via live chat again and they can’t confirm if it has been ordered! They needed to check my previous live chat conversation which they couldn’t do whilst I was on live chat and they will email me with an update within 24hrs.

TL;DR - I’m waiting on some wrapping paper that may or may not have been ordered

Still waiting for my christmas party dress, christmas party tomorrow so unlikely and mils gift. I looked for a uk seller on eBay, but upon paying realised they're coming from china so probably wont even be here before christmas!

I ordered a toy for ds which amazon has just emailed to say has been delayed. I have now ordered from smyth toys and just keeping fingers crossed it arrives.

I reserved a Hatchimal CollEGGtibles pack for £2.99 from Argos. I will walk there tomorrow to get the set.

A t-shirt which I ordered last minute for my husband off Amazon. Should arrive by Friday or Saturday, and if it does I just need to work out how to wrap it without his knowledge as he's home now till after the new year. May have to send him out shopping.

I'm waiting for lands end blankets which they have confirmed via live chat have been despatched today for delivery tomorrow. Hope that is correct as one of them needs to be posted tomorrow in order to reach recipient in time.

Other thing is an order from The Works, which after reading the OP I am not at all confident it will arrive. I only ordered on the 16th, so I expect I have no chance if op ordered on the 7th and still doesn't have it! Annoyed with myself as I could bought it in store but went online so I could go via TopCashback. I've got to go to shops at some point tomorrow (if my
Lands end blankets arrive in time to get the post office) so I might nip in to the works and see if i can buy in store and then will cancel the online order.

My dress has just come for tonight yay! Just mils to go now.

Gift card arrived this morning! 2 parcels due tomorrow and then that’s DH done.

Slightly concerned re the present for my dad, as I’ve not even had a confirmation of despatch yet. I’m sure they deliver by Royal Mail, so really unlikely to arrive in time now.

Amazon echo - Argos seem to have got some in again today

Maps of The South West Coast Path. The first lot was ordered mid November; it never arrived. The company send goodwill replacements 9 days ago. They haven’t arrived either! Royal Mail have lost not one, but two lots of thoughtful, original Christmas presents! Royal Mail, are you reading this? You’ve shafted me! I cannot just go and buy them in the shops. I’ve even been to the local post office parcel place in case they were there. Nothing. I’m fuming with Royal Mail.
