I bought DH a bike for Christmas

He chose it but:
I lied and said the bike shop wouldn't have it until February
Then a friend asked to borrow the bike carrier (so he wouldn't notice it was missing from the shed)
DD & I managed to get the bike carrier on the car while he was out collect the bike and drive to my mum's where we are having presents
My brother will get it out and stick red bows on it Christmas morning

Phew!

Now I just need to work out how to surprise DD.....who just had her 21st and got everything she ever wanted!

It sounds like a movie with everything falling together brilliantly. You must be desperate to see his face when he sees the bike.

Mind you it was a bit slapstick - DD & I carrying the bike carrier through the house and putting it on the back seat then trying to get it on the towbar at the bike shop - neither of us have fitted it before!

I keep waiting for it all to go wrong!

DH was so surprised!

My brother got it out and put ribbons on so he saw it when he arrived!

DD=21 hmm yes I often feel that way
