Hi, my OHs niece is 11 and we have no idea what to get her for Xmas ?
Is make up too old for her ?
I was thinking pandora earrings, perfume or a make up set but no idea if that's is what an 11 year old would want ?
Anyone on here with 11/12 year old girls give me some ideas please

My 10 year old DD getting.

Phone case - seems you can't have too many of these
Body spray - white musk from body shop
Set of smellies from Bomb Cosmetic
Chocolate making moulds and chocolate
Chocolate fountain
PJs
Books
Clothes
Football kit and accessories!
Bubble gum machine

No make up but she has too much already that she doesn't use
They also all love slow rising squishies!

Lush bath bombs (the silver star is gorgeous), look in Boots for perfume (tell the lady it's for a young girl) they usually have a nice selection of light perfumes in pretty shaped bottles. My local Morrison's sell large sweetie pizzas. Heat sensitive magic putty from hobbycraft/amazon. Gold/silver earrings. Usborne doodle book (even I have one) with a set of gel pens. A pink tinted lip balm, light coloured retractable eyeliner (gold/teal) from Avon. Nail polish set. Squishies. Ask her what she would like...might steer you in the right direction.

My DD is 11yo and she’d love a kind of grown up smellies set (body spray/shower gel/body lotion) but not all her friends would.

Make up might depend on parental rules so double check with her Mum first.

Jewellery is pretty much always good and handbags are pretty popular too.

If she’s crafty there are some pretty cool jewellery making sets on Amazon.

Nice stationery, note books pens etc always go down well.

My DD would actually be very happy with a voucher for a clothes store.

My girls love stationary, specially smiggle! They also like:
Slime
Books
Squishies
Bath bombs
Crafty things.
They really aren't fussed for jewellery but my eldest has a nice watch this year Smile

What is your budget?

I would say something she could make - so a cross stitch set, or some nice pastels + pastel paper + book, or ice cream maker, or a soft toy making kit.

My 11 year old niece loves Harry Potter, watching films and gaming. She 'plays' with make up really as in she's not into all the brands just yet.

FoxInABox · 18/12/2018 19:05

My 11 yr old DD is into anything Harry Potter, slime, her bike- she’s asked for lights for the wheels, clothes, river island bag & purse, she’s also getting one of those mini printers to print from her phone. She asked for hand warmers too and I found some brilliant ones that are rechargeable and are also a power bank.

Howmanysleepstilchristmas · 19/12/2018 07:23

My 11yo is not interested in makeup, so that’s not a safe bet.
She’d like earrings, or the Phone printer a pp suggested, or stationery/ craft stuff. Other stuff for her is a bit more individualised so may not work for other 11yo

actiongirl1978 · 19/12/2018 07:56

My about to be 11 yr old doesn't have pierced ears or a phone, so I'd check on those!

Mine is getting a refurbished ipod loaded with show tunes music (old style ipod, she didn't want any WiFi), books, bath bombs, lip gloss, earphones, a fountain pen with ink, hairbands.

She does buy her own makeup but isn't allowed to wear it out of the house.

JoeMaplin · 19/12/2018 08:13

My 12 year old would most likely lose expensive earrings! I'd go for earrings from essential or jewellerybox, lush things, voucher for new look, h and m, paperchase, nail varnish, a light box, fairy lights, nice pyjamas, fluffy dressing gown/socks/slippers, a cuddly throw for her bed. I'd say sjes verging on being too old for smuggle. My year 7 and her friends don't like it any more.

JoeMaplin · 19/12/2018 08:14

*smiggle

JiltedJohnsJulie · 19/12/2018 08:18

My DD is 11, she probably wouldn’t be too keen on perfume or make op and she doesn’t have her ears pierced. She’d probably give her right arm for a bath bomb set from Lush though.

PipGoesPop · 19/12/2018 08:24

Anything llama
Stationery from Paperchase
Keyrings (Paperchase!)
Squishies
Earrings
Claire's voucher
Pjs

BrieAndChilli · 19/12/2018 08:29

My DD who is in year 6 and age 10 likes/is getting

Smiggle
Bath bombs
YouTube blogging kit thing with a microphone that you attach your phone to to record videos
Rainbocorn
Gymnastics stuff
Stationery (of any kind)
Journals
Anything with sloths/lamas/unicorns on

bullyingadvice2017 · 19/12/2018 08:32

If she's 11 and going to high school then snuggle is "well sad" I'm afraid

actiongirl1978 · 19/12/2018 08:39

Yep. Smiggle lost its magic when they were in yr 4. They moved on to paperchase, Kikki K and Blott.

OldGrinch · 19/12/2018 08:43

My DD nearly 11 not into make up loves Slime and Squishy slow rising things, still likes the odd cuddly toy, Cyril the Sloth from Jellycat is gorgeous and on her Xmas list, they all seem to also be obsessed with those light up boxes you put letters on.
