I have my brother for secret Santa - £50 budget. He’s 34. Got him a tablet on Black Friday for £30. But can not get the other £20 spent - thinking maybe a light hearted positivity or self help type book (he does have a few but don’t know if it’s naff) he’s got two girls and going through a divorce. Anyone read anything light hearted but good recently? Or should I buy him something he could play with the girls ? My other thoughts is just beer ! I know my Parents have got him gym gear already.

Hawkins Bazaar do a prefilled stocking for £20. I bought the male 14+ this year and it was fab.

Case for the tablet with a picture of his daughters on it?

The Chimp Paradox is a good book for anyone going through a difficult time.

How about a voucher for something fun to do with his children?

@BlytheSpiritsSpirit what was in it? I've been pondering them but wasn't sure if it would be worth it

I would do your own stocking for him. £20 can get a couple of nice bottles of ale/beer that are a bit more special than usual, some nice chocs and/or sweets, a decent shower gel or some bulldog skincare, and a paperback book? Ot tailor to his interests eg. My brother plays golf so I’d include a set of golf balls. Think this is more personal than a premade stocking and he may appreciate this if he’s going through a divorce and doesn’t have a DW to do this sort of thoughtful thing for him.

Some good ideas! I kind of want to get something a bit personal with him not having a DW. I know she did get him a photo frame from the girls and they will be with us on Christmas Day so maybe a game to play with them and a few beers?
