I thought I would try to pick some up in the sale for next year. They are currently 8, 6 and 3 and have all had and enjoyed playmobil this year. Which ones have your kids found good? (Other than lego). Oldest is dd.

The Lego City one this year has been rubbish, feels like real cost cutting.

If you feel you 'have' to get a Lego one, I'd at least suggest getting one in the sale if you can get a good deal so you don't have to spend full price on one next year.

Tinc has been excellent.

They normally sell out before Christmas though.

We have had lego ones, hot wheels last 2 years . This year has been smiggle and kids 8 and 6 say it's best one yet

Playmobil excellent. I like that there are many different versions. Annoyed by the fact that a lot of them seemed basically the same as last year.

Have really enjoyed the Lego Friends one - little lego ornaments to make and hang on the tree.

My dc have always liked playmobil ones. This year we had the hatchimal one which has been much better than expected.

LittleLebowski · 17/12/2018 16:18

My 10 year old has the Smiggle one. I wasn't very keen on getting it, but she is really enjoying it and some of the presents are actually quiet nice so I think it was good value.

I wonder if they’lol be sold cheap in jan. I got the playmobil ones cheap on Dec 28 last year on amazon

I made my own for dd2 with hatchimals figures which she's loved. (Bought a bundle with playset and over 100 figures for £20 on Facebook - she's got the playset and extras as a Christmas present!)

Dd1 has the Harry potter funko pop one which she has loved. Was £££ but was a birthday present and seemed the best way to get all the characters 😂

We also have the HP Funko Pop one and have been very impressed at the detailing and quality.

DS has had Smiggle for the last 3 years and has liked all of them - even the year when loads of people were complaining about broken items, etc. Think it might be time to move on to something else next year. He has also liked Match Attax calendars. I have made bespoke ones for DD for the last few years. Last year she asked for a Pusheen one, the year before it was Jibanyan.
