Hi,

It's our first year hosting this year and I'm not sure when to do the Christmas shop for veg. I want to avoid the rush but not be to early.

Our turkey is being delivered to us so don't need to worry about that

Thank you

I am going at about 6am next Saturday morning.
Nice stocked shelves, fairly close to Christmas and relatively few people

Saturday evening for Sainsbury's and M&S. Collecting the meat from the farm shop on Christmas Eve.

Last year I went to Waitrose as soon as it opened on Christmas Eve, it was fully stocked, not overly busy and quick to pay after using self scan. Planning to do the same again - I have been buying non-perishable and freezable stuff over the last few weeks, so it won't be a huge shop.

By the weekend I should have only veggie and salad stuff to get. Think it's gonna be morrisons, get there early and hope it's quiet.

I'm going shopping on Thursday afternoon - I need to go to about 4 shops so I reckon it will take me a couple of hours tops. I have my list in order of the aisles so it should just be a dash and grab then queue for the tills situation. I'm ordering meat from the butcher so will pick that up on the Saturday and have ordered two puddings from Cook which I will collect tomorrow.

We’re having Asda deliver on Saturday, everything will keep until Tuesday then.
