Nice ideas to gift wrap money

DS (19yo) is not a 'present' person , he prefers money that he saves (he has always been like this since he was very little). Usually I give him a £50 note rolled up with a ribbon , in a box .

We gave him a £50 note as part of his birthday (he got a new guitar and we pay his lessons)

So...if I give him some nice new £10 notes, how to wrap them in a novel , quirky manner ? I'm thinking £100 or so. (He's got some wrapped presents- clothes/smellies/books type)

(I've got some gift cards from Card Factory for DD gift cards)

Get a picture frame... arrange them in a Christmas style collage. Wrap and place under the tree. [santa]

Probably too young for your ds but my niece loved it when she opened a helium balloon in a box which had concert tickets tied to the bottom of the string

Buy a selection box and wrap the money around each chocolate bar then re seal

Pass the parcel style - wrap something like a lynx deodorant set and put a note in each layer.

I once bought my niece and nephew a book from the poundshop (something like Justin bieber - who I know they didn't like) and hid the money in the book. I will never forget the look on their faces.

My brother used to be like this, one Christmas he received a box from my Great Gran with a tab on the top that said ‘pull here’. When he did out came a length of sellotape with pound coins stuck to it.

Maybe mix denominations and use a few of the ideas on here to break things up a bit?

I've got one someone a Godzilla money-stealing box and a £20 bag of pound coins this year, some of the younger kids have got chocolate figure sets (the ones with a little Santa and lots of little reindeer) and slipped £5 notes into the boxes. In previous years I've given them baubles with their names on them and cash inside.

Roll up notes and poke them into the netting of a bag of chocolate coins then unfurl them once they are inside. Then you end up with a bag of chocolate coins and real money!

I was thinking about blowing up a balloon and poking the notes through the neck but the balloon -in-a-box might be better (with the money in a roll tied to the tail)

I like the idea of the Selection Box or coins but I'm not sure he'd open them on Christmas morning . He's not the 'tear the wrapping paper off ' type like DD is.

I gave my db a pizza box with money in when he graduated (pic taken from google but same idea) Looks big wrapped up too.

For dn this year I’ve put his gift card in a big jar of sweeties.

I've wrapped £20 notes around a bottle of vodka for Ds18. He will love both I think!
