Forgive me. Baby brain - my brain has turned to mush.

Planning a catch up with about 10 people coming over after Xmas on the 28th. Just a couple of hours with the kids and parents and lots of cups of tea.

All I can think of is mini sausage rolls. My mind is blank!

Please can I have your Easy and budget friendly food ideas, more like nibblibly bits that the babies and kids can eat too.

Mini pizzas/pizza slices
Cheese straws
Small crackers with cream cheese and a bit of smoked salmon, or pate
Chicken skewers
Crudites and houmous or a dip selection
Grapes or clementines

All easy, all from Aldi so not going to cost the earth

Crusty bread with various cheese, ham and salami. Bread sticks with dibs. I could easily feed my baby/toddler for lunch/tea with these.

Fruit and crackers, biscuits.

Iced fairy cakes with a spray of Christmas sparkle.

Squares of pizza.

Small cheese scones cut in half and buttered.

Mini mince pies.

Cheese straws.

Stollen bites

Sausages roast with honey mustard serve cold

A cheese and pineapple hedgehog done with half a melon.

Thank you all very much. Reading your suggestions I'm thinking to myself 'yes, of course! Why didn't I think of that!' Poor mush brain.

Pinwheels made from wraps spread with cream cheese and then a layer of ham or smoked salmon. Roll up and slice into rounds.
Nigella's cheesy feet biscuits at this time of the year I make them with star cutters

Alternatively, we have a similar get together after Christmas with some other families and the menu is always baked potatoes, sausages, chilli and baked beans. Grated cheese and coleslaw sides. Low effort, everyone eats it.

You know the puff pastry / cheese and mozzarella idea would be cheap and tasty

We have a party between Christmas and new year
Always buy 10 pizza’s and cut them up for the kids.
Adults have 3 for 2 party food from Tesco
Cheap and easy.
